Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using WatPhasa: Speak Thai Daily ("WatPhasa" or "the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of the App
WatPhasa is for language practice and educational purposes. The app helps foreigners practice Thai phrases with audio, voice recording, favorites, progress tracking, and practice scores.
3. Accounts
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login details secure. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for using the app lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the app in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
5. Practice Scores Disclaimer
Practice scores are guidance only and may not be perfectly accurate. Scores may use speech recognition, Azure Speech Pronunciation Assessment, recognized text, timing, and fluency signals. They should not be treated as a formal language assessment.
6. Subscriptions and Paid Features
WatPhasa offers optional paid features through Google Play billing or the relevant app store. Subscription and lifetime purchase terms, pricing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to the app store's terms and policies. Paid benefits shown in the app must be active in your store account to unlock Pro access.
7. No Guarantee of Language Fluency
WatPhasa can support language practice, but it does not guarantee fluency, native-level pronunciation, or any specific learning result.
8. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, content, phrase structure, software, branding, and related materials, is owned by WP Precision Systems or its licensors. You may use the app for personal language practice, but you may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the app without permission.
9. Prohibited Use
You may not use WatPhasa to break the law, attack or disrupt services, access data that does not belong to you, upload harmful code, abuse account systems, or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
10. Account Deletion
You can request account deletion inside the app from Account > Delete account. You can also request deletion through our online account deletion page or by emailing contact@wpprecisionsystems.co.uk using the email address linked to your WatPhasa account.
11. Changes to the App
We may update, change, pause, or remove features as the app develops. We may also update these Terms of Use when needed. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WP Precision Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. The app is provided as an educational tool and may contain errors, interruptions, or inaccurate practice results.
